font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: red; ">السلفية</span><span lang="AR-SA" style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: rgb(42, 42, 42); ">» منسوبة إلى مَن سلف، أي من سبق من هذه الأمة، وهم الجيل الأول بقيادة خير البرية وسيد البشرية صلى الله عليه وسلم، ومن تبعهم بعد ذلك من القرون المفضلة التي أخبر عنها عليه الصلاة والسلام بقوله: «</span><span lang="AR-SA" style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: maroon; ">خير الناس قرني، ثم الذين يلونهم، ثم الذين يلونهم</span><span lang="AR-SA" style="font-size: 13.5pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: rgb(42, 42, 42); font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: rgb(42, 42, 42); ">: هي من كلمة سلف يُسلف بالضم سَلَفًا بفتحتين، أي مضى، والقوم السُّلاَّف المتقدمون، وسلفُ الرجل: آباؤه المتقدمون.</span><span lang="AR-SA" style="font-size: 13.5pt;
